Who we are

ouvani operates PottyMouth and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at support@pottymouth.app.

What we collect and why

• Account data (email, login credentials, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Audio extracted from your media — sent to our transcription and classification providers so words can be detected. Your video never leaves your browser; audio segments are processed transiently and are not stored by us. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Usage records (clip counts, clip pack balance, purchase history) — to apply plan limits and prevent abuse. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, error reports) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Hosting, database and authentication providers that run the Service;
• AI transcription and classification providers that process audio segments;
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Account and usage records are kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards (longer where tax law requires records of purchases). Audio sent for transcription is processed transiently and not retained by us.

Your rights

Subject to local law you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email support@pottymouth.app and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security and cookies

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit and access controls. PottyMouth uses only essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your bleep settings; we do not run advertising cookies.
