Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

PottyMouth (“the Service”) is operated by ouvani (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. You confirm you are of legal age in your country and, where you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

2. What the Service does

PottyMouth transcribes uploaded video or audio using automated speech recognition and AI classification, and replaces detected words with a bleep sound of your choosing. Media is processed in your browser; audio segments are sent to AI providers for transcription and classification only.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break any law, or process content you have no right to process;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate another person;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with the Service’s security — no malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, resale, or circumvention of plan limits.

You are responsible for the media you upload, for the accuracy of the censored output, and for reviewing results before publishing them.

4. AI output and accuracy

Speech recognition and word classification are automated and may be inaccurate: words can be missed or bleeped unnecessarily. Output is provided for general use and is not suitable as the sole compliance control for regulated broadcast. Always preview before you publish.

5. Content rights and takedowns

You keep ownership of your media. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your rights, contact support@pottymouth.app and we will investigate; accounts with repeated infringements are terminated.

6. Our intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, its software, dictionaries, branding and documentation. Your plan grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

7. Service level

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; see our Refund Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination your access ends and account data is deleted or anonymised in line with our Privacy Notice.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. General

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the seller’s jurisdiction and disputes are subject to its courts.
